The ground breaking ceremony of a new building complex for the Faculty of Computing and Technology was held on 04th of December, 2020 at Mudun Ela land which belongs to University of Kelaniya.
A workshop on Moodle Open- Source Platform organized by the Faculty of Computing and Technology of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 30th of July 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The 4th International Conference on Advances in Computing and Technology- ICACT 2019 organized by the Faculty of Computing and Technology, University of Kelaniya was held on the 29th of July 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Senior Lecturer Dr. Gamini Wijayarathna was reappointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Technology. The appointment letter was handed over to the Dean by the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe on the 06th of May 2019 at the Vice- Chancellor’s Office.
