Applications are invited for a Research Assistant position in the Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya

for a project titled “Evaluation of reproductive success of commercial Phalaenopsis cultivars” funded by Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP) for a period of two years.

Qualification

Bachelor of Science Special/ Honours degree in Botany, Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology or any other relevant disciplines (SLQF Level 6) with First class or Second class upper division.

A monthly allowance will be paid as stipulated under SLCARP guidelines (up to Rs. 40,000 per month based on academic qualifications)
