EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Lecturer:

• B.Sc. Honours / Special Degree with specialization in Computer Science with Computer Networks, Information/ Cyber Security, Robotics, Knowledge Engineering, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Computing, Data Engineering and Computer Vision as subjects with First or Second Class (Upper Division);

OR

• B.Sc. Honours / Special Degree with specialization in Computer Science with Computer Networks, Information/ Cyber Security, Robotics, Knowledge Engineering, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Computing, Data Engineering and Computer Vision as subjects with Second Class (Lower Division);

OR

• (a) B.Sc. Honours / Special Degree with specialization in Computer Science with Computer Networks, Information/ Cyber Security, Robotics, Knowledge Engineering, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Computing, Data Engineering and Computer Vision as subjects without class or any other Degree with at least Second Class,

and

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field*

       or

A Master Degree in the relevant field* with full time research of at least 24 months duration

OR

• Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

* Relevant fields; Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information/ Cyber Security, Robotics, Knowledge Engineering, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Computing, Data Engineering and Computer Vision.

 SALARY OF THE APPOINTMENT:

Salary:  Lecturer           : Rs. 163,254.00 pm
