Dragon Boat Festival Celebration Activities Organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya 2022
The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival was held on the 03rd of June 2022. The Confucius Institute at the University of Kelaniya had organized a number of activities for students in connection with the Dragon Boat Festival.
The certificate award ceremony of the certificate course in Chinese Language offered by the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya was held on the 10th of October 2018 at the Humanities Faculty Board Room. The 19th batch of the Chinese certificate course received certificates at this ceremony and certificates were distributed to 110 students who have successfully completed the course.

Chinese Food Culture Festival
“Chinese Food Culture Festival” organized by the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya with the objective of introducing Chinese food culture to Sri Lanka was held on the 28th of September 2018 at the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya.
At the workshop, a special discussion was held on the Chinese national food culture and a practical session was conducted on how to prepare ‘Jiaozi’, a traditional Chinese dish.
