The certificate award ceremony of the certificate course in Chinese Language offered by the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya was held on the 10^th of October 2018 at the Humanities Faculty Board Room. The 19^th batch of the Chinese certificate course received certificates at this ceremony and certificates were distributed to 110 students who have successfully completed the course.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities. Senior Lecturer Dr. Kumari Jayasooriya, Director- Confucius Institute, Assistance Prof. Wang Wanxia. Co- Director of Confucius Institute, Senior Lecturer Dr. Dilrukshi Rathnayake, Head- Department of Modern Languages & Chinese Academic Staff Members of Confucius Institute graced the event.

The ceremony was jointly organized by the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Humanities and the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya.
