University of Kelaniya Signs Technology License Agreement with EDIC Enterprise Pvt Ltd

The University of Kelaniya signed a technology license agreement with EDIC Enterprise Pvt Ltd, a startup formed by the Electronic Design & Innovation Center (EDIC) of the Department of Physics & Electronics. This initiative was organized by the Centre for Technology Transfer & Industry Linkage (CTTIL), University of Kelaniya, and the formal signing took place on the March 21, 2025 at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, University of Kelaniya.

The inauguration ceremony of the Orientation Programme for the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, was held on the 10^th of March 2025 at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall of the university. The event was organized by the Faculty of Science to welcome the new undergraduates of the 2023/2024 intake.

A group of 50 students from Wesley College visited the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya for an educational visit on the 20^th of February 2025. The event was successfully hosted by the Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Alumni Association of Faculty of Science.

Professor Jane Stewart Explores Research Collaboration with University of Kelaniya

Ms. Jane Stewart, Professor at the Department of Agricultural Biology, University of Colorado, USA visited the University of Kelaniya and met with Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, on the 21^st of February 2025 at the Vice-Chancellor’s office. The discussion was also attended by Prof. Renuka Attanayake and Senior Lecturer Ms. Priyangi Edirisinghe of the Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, University of Kelaniya.
