The Floriculture Research Center, Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, University of Kelaniya, successfully conducted a comprehensive five-day training program on Plant Tissue Culture Techniques from 10th May to 28th June 2025 at the Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Gampaha.
An Information Session on Higher Education and Grant Opportunities in Europe was held on July 03, 2025, at the Boardroom of the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, under the patronage of Senior Prof. S. R. D. Kalingamudali, Dean of the Faculty of Science. The session was organized by the Department of Physics and Electronics, and the Research and Services Centre of the Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Centre for International Affairs, University of Kelaniya.
An MOU was signed between the Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, University of Kelaniya and Southwest University, Chongqing, China on the 12th of June 2025 at the at the Vice Chancellor’s office.
