IHTIFAL - 2025: A Celebration of Faith and Togetherness at the University of Kelaniya

IHTIFAL - 2025, a flagship event held during the holy month of Ramadan, was successfully hosted by the Association of Islamic Students (AIS) at the University of Kelaniya, on the 10^th of March 2025 at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya. Rooted in the Arabic word meaning "opening," IHTIFAL symbolizes the breaking of fast (Iftar) and embodies the spirit of unity, faith, and gratitude that defines this sacred month.

Sri Lanka’s first-ever Inter-University competition for 3D printed Assistive Medical Technology, Make-A-Thon’ 25, held from February 22–24, 2025, at the Faculty of Computing and Technology, University of Kelaniya, concluded successfully, showcasing the power of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving in the field of assistive technology. The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Computing and Technology and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kelaniya.
