University of Kelaniya Hosts the Intermediate Management Meeting of the EU-Funded Erasmus+ NSIS Project
The Library of the University of Kelaniya is a proud partner of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project titled “Developing Information, Research, and Digital Skills for Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal” (NSIS).
Another session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 28th of January 2026 at the Senate Room of the university.

Vidulakara Piya Saṭahan: 150th Anniversary Celebration of the Vidyalankara Piruvana
Vidulakara Piya Saṭahan, the ceremony organised by the University of Kelaniya to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Vidyalankara Piruvana, Peliyagoda, an institution that played a vital role in the advancement of Buddhist education in Sri Lanka, was held on 27 January 2026 at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall of the University.
