Senior Professor Chamindi Dilkushi Senaratne (Wettewe) of the Department of English Language Teaching, University of Kelaniya, was honored with the Silver Award in the category of Higher Education – Language and Literature at the National Educator Awards 2025.

The Samprasadini 2025 ceremony, organized by the Academic Establish Division of the University of Kelaniya, was successfully held on 19th November 2025 at the Senate Room of the University, under the chairmanship of Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University of Kelaniya successfully organized a seminar titled “Music and Dance Beyond the Culture” in collaboration with the Faculty of Performing Arts of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (ICCR).
