Mr. HUNG Chiu Wah Derek, the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Hong Kong and Macao and Chairman of the Confucius Clansman Association of Hong Kong, paid a courtesy visit to Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, on the 5th of March 2025.
The 8th scholarship awarding ceremony, organized annually by the Alumni Association of the University of Kelaniya, was held under the precedence of Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, on the 28th of February 2025, at the university’s Senate Room.
Sri Lanka’s first-ever Inter-University competition for 3D printed Assistive Medical Technology, Make-A-Thon’ 25, held from February 22–24, 2025, at the Faculty of Computing and Technology, University of Kelaniya, concluded successfully, showcasing the power of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving in the field of assistive technology. The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Computing and Technology and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kelaniya.
The Training Program on Child Protection for the University Student Ambassadors of the University of Kelaniya, organized under the University Student Ambassador National Program on Child Protection – 2025, was successfully held on the 13th of February 2025 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.
