The University of Kelaniya was awarded the Merit Trophy of Commendation in the “Best Government Institution that Contributes to the Environment” category for its excellent contribution towards environmental conversation and sustainability at the prestigious Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony 2024, conducted by the Central Environmental Authority of the Ministry of Environment, on 28th June 2024, at the Main Hall, BMICH.
Another session of presenting Senate Awards and Cash Prizes to appreciate the researchers at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 25th of April 2024 at the Senate Room of the university.
Professor Bivudutta Mishra, Professor of Mathematics and Associate Dean for International Porgrammes and Collaboration called upon the Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva on 26th March 2024 at the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
