The Internship and Career Development Centre of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Career141 Pvt Ltd on 31st March 2026 at the Senate Room of the University. The partnership marks another important step in enhancing industry engagement and creating meaningful career pathways for undergraduates.

In a significant milestone for collaboration between academia and the professional community, the University of Kelaniya and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Sri Lanka Chapter officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 13th March 2026 at the Senate Room of the university.

Dr Alfred Hannig, Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), accompanied by Ms Nangsi Dema, Asian Regional Manager of AFI, visited the University of Kelaniya on 20th February 2026, and met with Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya at the Senate Room of the University.
