The inauguration of the 10th batch of the Higher Diploma in Business Accounting (HDBA) program was held by the Department of Accountancy (DoA), University of Kelaniya, on September 29, 2024, at the Sunil Shantha Memorial Auditorium, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya.
A Memorandom of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Union Assurance PLC on the 01st of October 2024 at the Vice-chancellor’s Office.
Dr. Saroja Wanigasekra assumed duties as the new Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya. The appointment letter was handed over to the Head by Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva, Vice-chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, on the 05th of August 2024, in the Senate Room.
The inauguration ceremony of the 2024 batch of the Diploma in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) took place at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies on 5th April 2024, in a hybrid format. This year marked the enrollment of the 4th external batch and the 9th internal batch of the Diploma in ERP, with over 200 participants joining both physically and via Zoom.
