The Closing Ceremony of the Career Fair 2024 organized by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) was held on the 26^th of March 2024 at the K14 Hall of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Kelaniya.

The Career Fair 2024 was entirely organized by the student clubs affiliated with the CGU, the Rotaract Club, the LEO Club, and the AIESEC Club. The Career Fair is organized annually with the aim of providing a platform for undergraduates to explore career opportunities in the corporate world by introducing them to potential employers.

Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya participated as the Chief Guest of the event while Ms. Shehani Fernando, Senior Executive - HR Strategy, Learning, Culture and Business Partnering at Unilever delivered the keynote speech. Present at the occasion were Senior Professor Dilkushi Wettewe, Director of the Career Guidance Unit, University of Kelaniya, Deans of the Faculties, academic staff, and undergraduates of the University.
