The first annual general meeting of the Gender Equality and Equality Club was held on the 18^th of March 2021 at the Senate Room of University of Kelaniya. It was powered by the Centre for Gender Studies, University of Kelaniya.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of University of Kelaniya. Moreover. It was attended by Senior Lecturer Dr. E.A.D. Anusha Edirisinghe, Director- Centre for Gender Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. H. R. S. Sulochani and members.
