Research Connect Conference- “Building World Leading Research Universities: Elsevier and University of Kelaniya co- hosted - Research Connect Conference- “Building World Leading Research Universities” jointly organized by the Research Council, University of Kelaniya and Elsevier was held on the 17^th of December 2018 at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo.

The conference was organized with the objective of sharing and building upon valuable information in support of long- term research management efforts; Strategies and best practices that together help to build a world- class research university.

The event was held under the patronage of the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe while Prof. P.S.M. Gunaratne, Vice Chairman- University Grants Commission presided over the event as the Chief Guest.
