Invitation for Bids Supply and Delivery of Personal Computers and Laptop Computers
IFB No. NCB/SB/2021/01
1.The Chairperson, Procurement Committee of the University of Kelaniya now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the purchase of the following items.

2.Bidders are required to bid for the total quantity in anitemas listed above. Partial bids shall be treated as non-responsive and shall be rejected.
3.Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.
4.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Supplies Division, University of Kelaniya and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on working days during the period from July 19, 2021 to August 09, 2021.
5.Qualification requirements include:
(i)Financial Capability
a)Minimum Average Annual Turnover of LKR 15million from Supplying Personal Computers, within last 3 (three)years.
b)Minimum Average Annual Turnover of LKR 15million from Supplying Laptop Computers, within last 3 (three)years.
(ii)Commercial, Experience and Technical Capacity
a)The bidder shall be a legally registered business entity in Sri Lanka and has been in operation of supplying IT equipment for the last 5 (five) years.
b)The bidder shall have past experience of suppling similar contracts in supplying Personal Computers and/ or Laptop Computers (in the relevant item the bid would be submitted) that the bidder has completed successfully during the period of last five (5) years ending on the deadline of bid submission.
A margin of preference for eligible locally produced goods offered shall be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
6.A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below or emailing a scanned copy to the below email address together with the evidence of paymentof a non-refundable fee of LKR 5,000.00 (Sri Lankan Rupees Five Thousand).The method of payment will be by cash deposit to the Shroff of the University or by direct deposit to the account no. 055100110667549, Peoples Bank, Kelaniya Branch.
7.The documents may be purchased on or before August 09, 2021.
8.Bids must be delivered to the address given below on or before 10.30 a.m. on August 10, 2021. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who opt to attend in person.
9.All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid-Securityusing the format given with the bidding documents as specified in Bidding Data Sheet.
10.The University will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
