EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 Senior Lecturer:

 

1. A Degree with specialization in Business Management/Commerce with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

2. A Degree with specialization in Business Management/Commerce with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

3. (a) A Degree with specialization in Business Management/Commerce without Honours or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in Business Management/Commerce

       Or

©A Master in Business Management/Commerce with a full-time course of study of at least 24 months durations (or equivalent part-time course of study) with a research component by way of thesis/dissertation.

Or

(d) A full time Master Degree in the *relevant field of a minimum of 18 months duration with at least

     60 credits of which not less than 15 credits of research by way of thesis/dissertation.

4. Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

 

AND

5. At least six (06) years’ experience in one or more of the following:
6. Teaching at University Level,
7. Professional experience,

• Research in a recognized Institution,

1. Postgraduate Studies to acquire the qualifications stipulated at (2) above.

 

*  Preference will be given to those who possess at least 06 years of professional work experience

in the fields of digital marketing, digital media strategy and managing digital business revenue models. In addition, candidates who possess professional certifications in Internet-based marketing communication strategies and digital marketing tools endorsed by Google or any other authentic Internet source will be given special attention.

 

SALARY

 

 Senior Lecturer: Rs. 206,993.60 p.m.
