DEPARTMENT OF APPLIED COMPUTING - Disciplines: - (Material & Process Technology, Industrial Automation & Robotics, Sustainable Technology)

 

Qualifications

Temporary Lecturer:

• A Bachelor's Honors/ Special Degree with specialization in a relevant subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division)

OR

• A Bachelor's Honors/ Special Degree with specialization in a relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division)

OR

• (a) A Bachelor's Honors/ Special   Degree with specialization in the relevant subject without a class or any other Degree with at least a Second Class

And

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in a relevant subject

Or

(c)   A Master's degree in the relevant subject obtained after a full-time course of study of at least 24 months duration (or equivalent part-time course of study) with a research component by way of thesis/dissertation.

Or

(d)    A full-time Master's Degree in a relevant subject of a minimum of 18 months duration with at least 60 credits of which not less than 15 credits of research by way of thesis/dissertation.

 

Temporary Demonstrator:

A Bachelor's Honors Degree with specialization in the relevant subject

(A person awaiting results could also apply)

Or

A graduate with First or Second Class, in the relevant subject

 

Salary:

Temporary Lecturer  - Rs. 49,860/- p.m.

Temporary Demonstrator / Tutor  - Rs. 40,920/- p.m.

 

BENEFITS:

Appointees will become contributors to the University's Provident Fund, contributing 10% of their monthly salary and the University will contribute 15% and 3% of the monthly salary to the UPF and the Employees Trust Fund respectively.
