The Staff Development Centre of University of Kelaniya launched an online platform to support the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of university academics. This platform, titled ‘Bite-sized CPD’ was launched on the 01st of April 2021 in a zoom-based session.
A Certificate Course in Office Administration was commenced on 01st of April 2021 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Center. The event was organized by Staff Development Center of University of Kelaniya.

An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Expographic Books Pvt Ltd on the 26 th of March 2021 at the Senate Room. The event was hosted by the National E-Learning Resource Centre of University of Kelaniya.
The MoU was signed with the objective of publishing e-books in the Gurulugomi app.Under this MoU, any academic of the University of Kelaniya can publish e-books with Expographic books without any cost. These books will be appeared in Gurulugomi app for readers to purchase and read.The event was dignified with the presence of Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor - University of Kelaniya, Senior Lecturer Dr. P.
