The Inauguration Ceremony of the Master of Business Accounting/Finance (09^th Batch), and Master of Professional Accounting programmes was successfully held on 24^th of July 2021 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.

Due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation, this event was conducted in hybrid mode where the students joined with the ceremony online while arrangements were made for invitees and academic staff to attend the ceremony on the university premises physically.

The event was graced by Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya as the Chief Guest. Prof. P. M. C. Thilakarathna, Vice-Chancellor- Open University of Sri Lanka, Senior Prof. Ariyarathna Jayamaha, Dean- Faculty of Graduate Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. P. N. D. Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Prof. K. K. Thilakasiri, Head- Department of Accountancy, Prof. U. L. T. P. Gunasekara, Coordinator (Academic)- Master of Business, Mr. M. D. Pubudu Kawshalya, Coordinator (Technichal)- Master of Business and Academic Staff Members were present at the occasion.
