An Inauguration and Certificate Awarding Ceremony organized by the Department of Sanskrit & Eastern Studies of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 17^th of March 2024 at the Social Sciences Auditorium of the University of Kelaniya.

The main objectives of the ceremony were to award Certificates for Diploma in Sanskrit Language (Group No. 01), Certificate Course in Jyothir Vidya (Group No. 08), Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga Philosophy (Group No. 01), Certificate Course in Vastu Shastra (Group No. 07) and to celebrate the inauguration of Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga Philosophy (Group No. 03) and Certificate Course in Jyothir Vidya (Group No. 10).

The Guest Lecture was delivered by Senior Lecturer Tharindu Dananjaya Weerasinghe, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya.
