The launch of “Kuvenita Liyumak” Poetry Collection by Oshada Dilum, a Kelaniya University undergraduate was held on the 15^th of October 2018 at Kotahena Sri Pragnakeerthi Memorial Hall. This is the very first poetry collection of Oshada Dilum who is a third year undergraduate of the Bachelor of Arts (special) Degree in Film and Television offered by the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Humanities.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Dean- Faculty of Humanities. Moreover, Senior Lecturer Mr. Priyanakara Rathnayake, Head- Drama & Theatre and Image Arts Unit, Department of Fine Arts, Senior Lecturer Mr. Chandrasiri Bogamuwa, Senior Lecturer Upul Jayantha Ranepura and the academic staff members of the department graced the event. Many undergraduates also participated in this event which was being made fascinating with the singing by the young musician Mr. Sadara Bandara.

This event was a novel experience for the participants because of the background setting of the hall in which the poetry collection was launched.
