Commemorating the 60 the anniversary of university of Kelaniya, A Health Campaign, Exhibition on medicine and Blood donation campaign which were organized by the faculty of medicine were held on 30^th August 2019 at the university premises.

Number of medical services including Dental clinic, OPD, blood testing, Dermatology clinic, Physiology clinic,  Paediatrics clinic and speech and hearing clinic were available at the campaign and in addition exhibition on medicine was held showcasing variety of items related to anatomy, Forensic Medicine and speech and hearing science.

Vice Chancellor, University of Kelaniya, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe graced the event and presence at the event were Dean Faculty of Medicine - Prof. P.S.Wijesinghe, Dean Faculty of Science - Prof. Bimali Jayawardene, Dean Faculty of Humanities Prof. Patrick Rathnayake, Chairman Research Council Prof. N.P. Sunil Chandra, Registrar W.M.Karunarathna and other nonacademic staff members.
