The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Science conducted a workshop for the G.C.E. (A/L) science students of GM/Sapugaskanda Maha Vidyalaya on 24^th February 2023.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Sudath Kalingamudali delivered a motivational speech and many other members of the Alumni Association contributed to the success of this event. The students visited the Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics and Electronics, Department of Microbiology, Department of Plant and Molecular Biology, the Information and Communication Technology Center, the Library, and the Sports Complex. These steps were taken by the association to build enthusiasm among schoolchildren toward higher education.
