A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Kelaniya and Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd from India to conduct research on “Rasaushdis” (Herbo mineral drugs), on the 12th of September 2023 at the Senate Hall of the University of Kelaniya.

The main objective of this MoU is to promote international agreement, scholarly collaboration, cultural interaction, and friendship by supporting educational, professional, and cultural activities among two parties. Accordingly, joint research activities, participation in seminars, and academic meetings, and organizing joint conferences/seminars/workshops are some of the activities organized through the MOU. Members of the Department of Chemistry are planning to carry out research activities and organize seminars, and conferences in collaboration with Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd, India.  

Mr. Ranjit Puranik, Managing Director of Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd, Mumbai, India was the chief guest of the event.

Vasudevan (Owner of AVH Distributors), Mr. Annesly Michael (Director of AVH Distributors) from Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd.
