A training workshop was held at the National Glassblowing Center, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya for a period of 04 weeks commencing from the 10^th of February, 2020 to 05^th of March, 2020. 

The training workshop was held at the boardroom of the Faculty of Social Sciences while Mr. Stuart Johnstone, Scientific Glassblower, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom was the resource person of the program.

Consequently, the participants were awarded with certificates for their participation on 05^th of March by Senior Prof. S.R.D. Kalingamudali, Dean- Faculty of Science & Prof. Chandima Jayasuriya, Coordinator- Glass Blowing Unit at the boardroom of the Faculty of Science.

Moreover, the training workshop as well as the certificate awarding ceremony was organized by the National Glassblowing Center, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya.

Thirteen participants from the University of Kelaniya, University of Moratuwa and University of Sri Jayawardenepura took part in the occasion.
