University of Kelaniya, Buddha - Dharma Centre of Hongkong sign MoU to foster bilateral relationships

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Buddha - Dharma Centre of Hongkong on the 16th of September 2022 at 11.am at the Vice Chancellor's Office of the University of Kelaniya.
This was organized by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University.
The objective of signing this MoU was to promote a bilateral relationships between Foreign Institutions and the University of Kelaniya, to encourage Academic Programs in Buddhist Studies overseas, exchange human resources, and to conduct joint research and socio-cultural programs.
Cadre Chair & Senior Lecturer Nilanthi De Silva, Vice Chancellor - the University of Kelaniya and Prof. K. L. Dhammajoti, Director - Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hongkong Ltd signed the MoU representing the respective organizations. Present at this occasion were Senior Prof. Ven. M. Dhammananda, Head, Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Chair Prof. Ven. N. Gnanaratana, Prof. Rajita Pushpakumara, members of the academic staff of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Mr. K. K. K. Dharmatilaka, Registrar - University of Kelaniya.
