“Our Country, Our People” Photography Exhibition organized for the first time by the Peace Club of the Department of Philosophy, University of Kelaniya was held on the 29th of October 2018 at the Art Gallery of the university. “Exhibition for Dialogue, Dialogue for Action, Action for Change” was the theme of this exhibition which was held with the objective of creating a social discourse on humanity and thus, redirecting the society into a different path.

This exhibition comprised of a collection of artistic photos captured by the undergraduates who follow B.A. (special) Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution, emphasizing the impact of war and the need for peace to create a new social perspective on equality.

The exhibition was declared open by Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice- Chancellorn of the University of Kelaniya. Senior Lecturer Dr. Tharanga Dharanitha, Head- Department of Philosophy and its academic staff members and the undergraduates who follow the B.A. (special) Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution graced the event.
