08th lecture of the lecture series on heritage studies organized by the Centre for Heritage Studies of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 27th November 2018 at the K27 203 Hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The lecture was held with the objective of expanding research knowledge on heritages.

Dr. Sushma Trivedi, Professor- University of Lucknow (India) conducted the lecture on the theme: Rathnagiri- Resourcing & Reclaiming Buddhist Art & Art Style in India & Beyond.

Senior Prof. Anura Manathunga, Director- Centre for Heritage Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Prashanthi Narangoda, Head- Department of Fine Arts, Prof. Malinga Amarasinghe including the academic staff members and undergraduates graced the event.
