The official website of University of Kelaniya won the golden award for the best website and the award for the most popular website of Universities & Educational Institutions category. The competition was organized by Bestweb.lk in 10^th intake. The award ceremony held on 09^th of September 2020 at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

The winning team called upon Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice- chancellor, University of Kelaniya on the 14^th of September 2020 at the Office of the Vice- Chancellor.

Dr. Nalin Warnajith- Web Master, Mr. Upul Ranepura- Deputy Webmaster, Ms. Malini Ranaweera- Deputy Webmaster, Mr. Dinuka Kannangara- Assistant Web Manager, Ms. Chapa Darshani- Temporary Demonstrator were present at the meeting. The competition focused on technical excellence, creativity, graphic design and content quality. The Silver medal was won by NSBM Green University & the Bronze medal was won by Asia Pacific Institute of Digital Marketing.
