A ceremony was held to symbolize the educational scholarships presented for the first-year undergraduates by the Koliya Bandara Education Institute at the Senate Room of the University of Kelaniya on the 24th of May 2021.

 Scholarships were awarded to four selected first-year undergraduate students at the University of Kelaniya.

Prof. Sudath R. D. Kalingamudali, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilaka, Registrar, Dr. M. A. Y. L. Nadeesha, Director of Student Affairs, Mr. R. M. L. L. B. Wewegama, Senior Assistant Registrar/ Student Services, and Mr. Senarath Bandara and family on behalf of the Koliya Bandara Education Institute graced the event with their presence.
