The flagship event of the Career Guidance Unit of the University of Kelaniya, “Inspiring the next – Career Fair 2019” is organized for the 12^th time by the Career Guidance Unit with the objective of providing a platform for the undergraduates in all five faculties at the university to explore career opportunities in the corporate world. The inauguration ceremony of the Career Fair 2019 was held on 23^rd October 2019 at 4.00 p.m. at the FCMS auditorium, University of Kelaniya.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, the Director of the Career Guidance Unit, Mr. Jayantha Munasinghe, the Chief Executive Officer of N-Able Mr. Peter De Almeida, The Dean of the Faculty of Computing & Technology Prof P.G. Wijayarathne, Dr. Asanka Pallewatta,  Mr. Thilina Karunanayake representing the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies and Dr. Nalin Warnajith representing the Faculty of Science as well as the career counsellors of the Career Guidance Unit participated in the inauguration ceremony.

Apart from organizing the event, the Career Fair 2019 Business Magazine will be launched by the Career Guidance Unit for the 5^th time, on the 14^th of November 2019 at the Bandaranayake Memorial International conference hall.
