A series of workshops and training programmes for the 4th year undergraduates of the Department of Archaeology organized by the Career Guidance Unit, University of Kelaniya was held on the 11th of June 2019 at K27- 203 Hall.
A special soft skills development workshop entitled “Empower ME” was conducted by the Career Guidance Unit in collaboration with the Employee Federation of Ceylon on the 20th June 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, Training Centre. Undergraduates representing all faculties attended this occasion and one of the highlights of the event was the attendance of 8 students from the Faculty of Medicine. This programme was helpful for the development of the soft skills of the undergraduates and to offer guidance and to create awareness of opportunities related to their career. All the participants were provided with a valuable certificate. The student feedback indicated that this programme was really productive for the students and the students requested to organize this kind of workshops in future as well.
