University of Kelaniya Women’s ‘A’ team emerged victorious in the University Women’s category of the ‘Happening Iced Tea Challenge Trophy 3x3 Basketball Bash’.

The tournament was organized by the Basketball team of the University of Moratuwa. The tournament took place on the 29^th of April 2023, at the premises of the University of Moratuwa.

The championship-winning team, consisting of Shenali Fernando, Chamali Thanthiriwattha, Verosha Abeygoonawardena, and Nipulini Jayasinghe, displayed exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition. Among the talented athletes, Shenali Fernando of the University of Kelaniya stood out and was honored as the Best Player of the University Women’s Category

Teams from various renowned universities, including Colombo, Peradeniya, Sabaragamuwa, Moratuwa, Kelaniya, and SLITT competed in this tournament.
