The 141^st General Convocation of the University of Kelaniya was held ceremoniously on the 19^th of February 2024 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo.

The convocation ceremony consisted of 03 sessions. During the 1st session, 513 graduands of Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree and 20 Chinese graduands of Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree (In absentia) offered by the Faculty of Humanities, were conferred.

During the 2nd session, 500 graduands of Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, were conferred.

During the 3rd session, 258 graduands of Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree, 94 graduands of Bachelor of Arts Degree, 2 graduands of Bachelor of Arts (General) Degree offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, and 121 graduands of Bachelor of Arts Degree offered by the Faculty of Humanities, were conferred.

Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Registrar, Librarian, Deans, Directors, and Chairpersons of the Units and Centers, Heads of the Departments, academic, and non-academic staff members, and parents of the graduates were among the participants of this special ceremony.
