An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and Softlogic Life Insurance PLC in relation to the newly commenced Higher Diploma in Financial Service Management specifically crafted for professional insurance advisors, on the 01^st of August 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Commerce and Management.

Present at the occasion were Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Ariyarathna Jayamaha, Dean- Faculty of Graduate Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. P. N. D. Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, academic staff members of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Mr. Chula Hettiarachchi, Executive Director- Softlogic Life Insurance PLC Mr. Indika Bamunusinghe, Head of Human Resources- Softlogic Life Insurance PLC, Mr. Hiran Gunawardena, Deputy General Manager- Training & Knowledge Development- Softlogic Life Insurance PLC and representatives from the Softlogic Life Insurance PLC.
