The 113^th General Convocation of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 21^st of January 2020 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

During the first session, four hundred and eighty three graduands of Bachelor of Science Degree offered by the Faculty of Science were awarded the degrees. Moreover, the convocation speech for the first session was delivered by Prof. E.M.P. Ekanayake, Vice-Chancellor, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.

During the second session, five hundred graduands of Bachelor of Business Management Degree and Bachelor of Commerce Degree offered by the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies were awarded the degrees. The convocation speech for the second session was delivered by Dr. Nalaka Godahewa.

Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, presided over the event.

Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Mr. W.M. Karunarathne- Registrar, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Postgraduate Institutes, Directors & Chairmen of Centers & Units of University, Heads of Departments, academic staff members and parents were among the participants of this special ceremony.
