Job Title: Assistant Web Manager (on assignment basis)

Responsible to: WebMaster/ Web Team

Job Summary

This Post holds responsibility for planning, maintaining, designing, implementing the university websites

Job Description

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the university's website
• Improve the User Experience of the website regularly
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites
• Develop, create, and manage engaging content that aligns with university brand strategy
• Maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement

Required Minimum Qualification

A Degree with Computing or Information Technology as a subject component from a recognized University

Professional Competencies

• Familiarity with knowledge of CMS (Joomla or WordPress), CSS, and HTML required
• Excellent content creation and writing skills
• Experience with graphic design software (Photoshop or Illustrator)
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Ability to function effectively  in  a  team  environment  inspiring  trust  and cooperation of other team members

Working Conditions

Position requires availability for extended hours plus non-traditional hours necessary to perform job duties

Method of Recruitment

The selection of appointees will be made through a structured interview. It is a full-time contractual appointment initially for 12 months from the date of signing the contract, which is renewable at expiry for another term based on work performance and satisfaction during the tenure of the contract completed. 

Remuneration

The successful candidate will receive a remuneration of Rs 48,720.00 per month.
