EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Lecturer :

• A Degree with specialization in Microbiology with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

• A Degree with specialization in Microbiology with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

• (a) A Degree with specialization in Microbiology without honours or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

and

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field in Microbiology

       or

A Master Degree in the relevant field in Microbiology with full time research of at least 24 months duration

      and

(c) Having less than (06) years experience in one or more of the following:

1. Teaching at University Level,
2. Professional experience,

• Research in a recognized institution,

1. Postgraduate studies to acquire the qualifications stipulated at (2) above.

OR

• Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

SALARY

Lecturer: Rs.168,529.80 p.m.
