EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Senior Lecturer

 

• A Degree with specialization in Finance with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours

OR

 

• A Degree with specialization in Finance with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

• (a) A Degree with specialization in Finance without honours or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

 

and

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in Finance  

    

Or

 

(c) A Master’s degree in Finance obtained after a full-time course of study of at least 24 months duration (or equivalent part-time course of study) with a research component by way of thesis/dissertation.

 

Or

 

(d) A full-time Master’s Degree in Finance of a minimum of 18 months duration with at least 60 credits of which not less than 15 credits of research by way of thesis/dissertation.

 

Or

 

• Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya.

 

*    preference will be given to those who possess at least 05 years of work experience in finance in the academic or executive level

*   member or part qualification in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

 

2. SALARY OF THE APPOINTMENT:

 

            Salary: Senior Lecturer Grade II:          Rs.206,993.60 p.m.
