1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

1. Senior Lecturer :

 

• A BSc Honours in Agriculture Degree with First or Second Class (Upper Division);

OR

• A BSc Honours in Agriculture Degree with Second Class (Lower Division);

OR

• A BSc Honours Degree in Agriculture or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

and

(b)  A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field in Geology or GIS and Remote Sensing,

       or

A Master Degree in the relevant field in Geology or GIS and Remote Sensing with full time research of at least 24 months duration

      and

 

(c) Having less than (06) years of experience in one or more of the following:

1. Teaching at University Level,
2. Professional experience,

• Research in a recognized institution,

1. Postgraduate studies to acquire the qualifications stipulated at (2) above.

 

OR

• Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

 

 

SALARY

Senior Lecturer:                                          Rs.206,993.60 p.m.
