The University of Kelaniya will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the above posts up to 30.06.2023.

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Senior Lecturer  (Contract Basis):

 

• i) B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Physics / Electronics as a subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

1. B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Physics / Electronics as a subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

• (a) B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Physics / Electronics as a subject without honors or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

       and

      (b)  A Doctoral Degree in Physics / Electronics

              or

     A Master Degree in Physics / Electronics with full-time research of at least 24 months duration

OR

1. Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

AND

• i) A Doctoral Degree in Physics / Electronics

or

 

1. ii) A Master Degree in Physics / Electronics with full-time research of at least 24 months duration

AND

• At least six (06) years of experience in one or more of the following:

1. Teaching at University Level,
2. Professional experience,

• Research in a recognized Institution,

1. Postgraduate Studies to acquire the qualifications stipulated at (2) above.

 

2. SALARY

 

Senior Lecturer:  Rs.206,993.60 p.m.
