Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya develops “Track the Spread”

Nipuna Shamen Rambukkange, President- Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation on 12th February, 2021 at the Vice- Chancellor's office, University of Kelaniya.
It was awarded in acknowledgment of the contributions made by the Rotaract Club of the University of Kelaniya to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in Sri Lanka.
An advanced Covid-19 patient tracking system “Track the Spread", has been developed by the Rotaract Club of the University of Kelaniya. The project titled "Track the Spread" uses geolocation capturing, movement tracking, and more advanced technologies to track Covid-19 patients in Sri Lanka. The project has been developed with the assistance of developers from Rotaract Club of the University of Kelaniya, the Rotaract District 3220, Rotary International and health-related authorities. It is now launched as a pilot project to the public.
Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of University of Kelaniya and Prof. Dilkushi Wettewa, Director- Career Guidance Unit graced the occasion.
