The Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya conducted an Awareness Programme on Safe Migration workshop in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The program was held on the 18^th and 19^th of October 2023 at the CGU Auditorium of the University of Kelaniya.

The main objectives of the workshop were to bridge the knowledge gap of safe migration and procedures of migration among undergraduates.

Senior Professor Dilkushi Wettewe, the Director of the Career Guidance Unit graced the programme while the workshop was conducted by Mr. Imthath Basan, Senior Project Coordinator, and Ms. Dulani De Silva, Project Coordinator of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

106 registered undergraduates attended the workshop. The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) provided refreshments, T-shirts, and information materials to all participants.
