A screen test to select presenters for a new television programme jointly produced by the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) and the University of Kelaniya was held on January 30, 2026, at the Board Room of the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya.

Approximately 300 students and faculty members representing all faculties of the University of Kelaniya participated in the screen test, which was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Senior Lecturer Saman Rajapaksha, Director of the Communication and Media Unit of the University.

The screen test was evaluated by a panel of veteran journalists from the SLRC.
