The show Gī Suvaňda, organized by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya, for the new undergraduates of the Faculty of Science admitted for the academic year 2023/2024, was held on March 13, 2026, at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall of the University.

The programme, organized in conjunction with the orientation programme for the new undergraduates, provided entertainment through distinctive selections from Sri Lankan music, including classical songs, film songs, and stage drama songs. The songs were performed by undergraduates representing all the faculties of the University.

The event was attended by Professor Uda Hettige, Chairman of the Arts Council, and students.
