A discussion between the University of Kelaniya and the National Chung Hsing University was held on the 28^th of August 2018 at the Centre for International Affairs.

The discussions were held on exchanging academic staff members, postgraduate students, undergraduates and organizing joint research and conferences.

Prof. Mu-Min Chen, Vice President for International Relations, Graduate Institute of International Politics, National Chung Hsing University and Prof. Tsai Hsiu Lin, National Taichung University of Education joined the discussion representing the Taiwan delegates. Prof. Neelakshi C. Premawardhene, Director- International Affairs, Ven. Prof. Therele Dhammarathana Thero, Head- Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Dr. Ruwan Wickramarachchi, Head- Department of Industrial Management, Dr. Chaminda Abeysinghe, Senior Lecturer- Department of International Studies participated in the discussion representing the University of Kelaniya. Moreover, Ms. Dulshani Gopaluwewa, Coordinator- International Student Affairs and Ms. Sashini Chandrasekara, Coordinator- International Cooperation were also present at the occasion.

The discussion was followed by a special meeting with Prof. A.H.M.H. Abayarathna, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences.

The delegation visit was initiated by Dr. Chaminda Abeysinghe.
