06th lecture of the lecture series on heritage studies organized by the Centre for Heritage Studies of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 08th of October 2018 at the Auditorium of the Staff Development Centre. The lecture was held with the objective of improving reserach knowledge on ‘Stone Tool Technology’.

Dr. H. Nimal Perera, former Deputy Director, Department of Archaeology conducted this lecture on the theme “An Introduction to Stone Tool Technology”.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. A.H.M.H. Abayarathne, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences. Senior Prof. Anura Manthunga, Director- Centre for Heritage Studies, Prof. Ranjith Jayasekara, Department of Botany, Ven. Lecturer Galkande Dhammananda Thero, Department of History, academic staff members and students also graced the event.
