The Third of the “Hands on Heritage” Workshop Series

The third of the “Hands on Heritage” workshop series organized by the Centre for Heritage Studies was held on the 05th and 06th of October 2018 at the university premises. The first session of the workshop was held on the 05th at the Library Lecture Hall and its second session was held on the 06th at the Computer Lab of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Dr. R.A.A.S. Ranaweera, Senior Assisstant Librarian, Mrs. A.P.U De Silva, Senior Assistant Librarian and Mrs. D.S. Priyangika, Senior Assistant Librarian were the resource persons of this workshop which was held with the objective of expanding knowledge on how to refer to written records relevant to Heritage Studies.
The event was held under the patronage of Senior Prof. Anura Manthunga, Director- Centre for Heritage Studies. Mrs. C.M. Abeygunasekara, Acting Librarian of the University of Kelaniya, researchers who got registered for the workshop and the students graced the event.
