07^th International Conference for Accounting Researchers and Educators (ICARE) was held on the 09^th of December 2021. It was virtually held under the theme “Revitalizing the business for finance resiliency in the next normal” in compliance with the new normal in a rapidly changing post-pandemic world.

Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya organizes ICARE to provide a forum for academic and professional personalities to bring in new insights and approaches to addressing the impact and challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic on the business domain.

Keynote speech was given by Dr. Anura De Zoysa, School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, University of Wollongong, Australia. Senior Lecturer Dr. P. N. D. Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, Prof. D. K. Y. Abeywardhana, Head- Department of Accountancy, Prof. Ruwan Abeysekera, Head- Department of Finance, Prof. K. K. Tilakasiri, other academic staff members and industrial experts were among the distinguished participants.
